QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding the quality of our software products through rigorous manual and automated testing procedures. Key responsibility

• Design and execute comprehensive automated test cases, adhering to project specifications and utilizing expertise in JavaScript/NodeJS and Python.
• Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts, ensuring seamless integration into testing frameworks and continuous performance improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with development teams to identify and resolve automation testing challenges, fostering a collaborative and efficient development process.
• Generate and communicate detailed defect reports, providing clear explanations, actionable steps, and code snippets in JavaScript/NodeJS or Python to relevant stakeholders.
• Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to strategies that enhance overall automation testing effectiveness, advocating for the adoption of best practices.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive automation testing documentation, ensuring clear, up-to-date testing guidelines, and providing illustrative examples in JavaScript/NodeJS and Python.
• Engage continuously in the improvement of automation testing processes and methodologies, adopting industry best practices, researching and proposing innovative solutions, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in JavaScript/NodeJS and Python automation testing tools and techniques.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, actively seeking out new knowledge and applying the latest best practices in JavaScript/NodeJS and Python automation testing to enhance testing efficiency, identify potential issues, and contribute to the overall success of the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies is a plus.
